Plantonix Coco Bliss - Coco Coir Potting Soil Discs: A 100% Natural & Organic Growing Medium
Plantonix, a family-owned business in Southern Oregon, is proud to supply the highest quality horticulture-grade coconut coir products in America. Our factory is located in the Southern part of India, far from the ocean, where nature has gifted us with the globe's best coconuts and plenty of fresh water for processing.
We do not use harsh chemicals or steam to process our coco coir. It is fully washed multiple times with fresh water to attain low EC levels and reduce the risk of salt build-up in your soil. Coco Bliss Coco Coir offers a high cation exchange capacity, a neutral pH, and is a sterile, natural alternative to peat moss.
Coconut coir pith is a premier growing medium with a neutral pH, acting as the best natural alternative to peat moss. Plantonix Coco Bliss is free from dirt, foreign materials, and weed seeds. We screen and wash the raw materials to remove any dirt, rocks, or larger lumps, providing a superior texture.
Why Use Plantonix Coco Bliss? - Processed with fresh water - Stable pH range of 5.8-6.8 - Moisture content of 10-15% - Compression ratio of 5:1
Benefits of Coco Discs: - Very low EC levels - High cation exchange capacity (CEC) - Prevents nutrient leaching - Slow breakdown to prevent shrinking during the growing cycle - Reduces watering frequency
Use Coco Bliss for potting mixes, hydroponics growing medium, seedling nurseries, horticulture and floriculture applications, indoor and outdoor home gardening, landscaping, amending clay soils, and worm bedding.
Adding one part coir to two parts soil or potting mix with compost creates an excellent growing medium for gardens, planters, and raised beds. Coco Bliss has superior water-holding capacity, allowing for excellent air space and drainage.
Coco Coir is easier to hydrate and lasts longer in soil than peat moss, all while not destroying natural peat bogs. It also helps break up hard clay soils, allowing nutrients to be used more efficiently.
How to Use Coco Coir Discs: 1. Lay disc down on a flat surface, in a bowl-like container, or directly into a pot or planter. 2. Slowly pour warm water over the disc, allowing the water to absorb. 3. After the water is absorbed, break apart with hands until light and spongy.
The warmer the water, the faster and easier the expansion, but do not use water over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Plantonix is dedicated to empowering passionate gardeners through 100% organic products that are sustainable and environmentally friendly. By using our soil amendments, you're growing a brighter, more sustainable future.
